During the period of April 2007-April 2008, IHETS experienced a significant increase in the growth and adoption of it technology services among consortium members:
- IHETS Interactive (web conferencing services) increased 74%
- Audio/video streaming increased 26%
- Video conferencing increased 6%
During this same time period consortium members scheduled with IHETS:
- 165,000 port hours in web conferencing
- 71,000 port hours in video conferencing
- 40,000 hours of audio and video streaming
IHETS has accomplished this growth while suffering from no major outages or disruptions in service, and while offering members a 17-second average wait time on its help desk.

The impact of the Indiana College Network is reflected in the number of institutions that are currently directly served by the ICN’s online enrollment engine and resources in 2007:
- 67 community learning centers in 59 Indiana counties (9% growth in four years)
- 211 degree and certificate programs available via distance learning, including:
- 58 certificate, endorsement, and licensure programs (credit and non-credit)
- 39 associate degree programs
- 47 bachelor’s and degree-completion programs
- 33 master’s degree programs
- 1 PhD program
- 32 continuing education programs
- 1 high school diploma program
- 5,892 class offerings in 2007
- 287 high school, K-12, and advanced placement (AP) courses
- 4,401 undergraduate courses
- 567 graduate courses
- 637 continuing education courses
ICN Enrollment Numbers for 2007:
- 4,031 … total number of student preregistration submissions through ICN
- 1,293 … number of ICN students preregistered at multiple institutions
