What's New at IHETS?
The International Violin Competition of Indianapolis was founded in 1982 to discover major violin talent. The competition strives to nurture the talents of all those involved and interested in the competition. This educational philosophy has made the International Violin Competition of Indianapolis one of the most respected competitions in the world.
IHETS recently provided the live streaming of the International Violin Competition of Indianapolis as part of their educational mission to provide aspiring violinists across the country with footage from the competition's seminars. For the first time in the competition's history, footage was made available online as flash video as well through the iPhone platform.
IHETS continues to help organizations extend their reach by streaming events online. This month, IHETS is partnering with the Heartland Film Festival to stream the competition’s awards ceremony and a film institute seminar.
