Finance Committee
Overview
The IHETS Finance Committee, chaired by a president or chancellor from the IHETS Board of Directors, will review and monitor fiscal affairs and develop budget requests. The Finance Committee chair will serve for two years corresponding to the state's biennial budget process and then will chair the IHETS Board of Directors for the following two years.
Roles and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, guidance and policy development for IHETS' business services division, including:
- Financial management (accounts payable/receivable and purchasing)
- Budget (development and reporting)
- Human resources and payroll
- Asset management (inventory control, shipping receiving)
- Contract management
- Facilities management
- Auditing of IHETS' fiscal processes
