Curtis Bonk
Bonk's discussion was on a series of research projects and instructional innovations at Indiana University that have involved asynchronous conferencing and collaboration tools. Many of these projects stem from his upcoming edited book Electronic Collaborators: Learner-centered Technologies for Literacy, Communication, and Dialogue with Lawrence Erlbaum Associates. His talk focused on instructional activities that tend to foster higher-order thinking, social dialogue, and cooperative learning.
