Update on preparedness for fall interactive video
Stockey reported that significant progress has been made since the last update on Project 2000. An installation schedule is now available; currently 47 sites have been installed. Each site will be contacted during the week of July 10 - 14 to schedule install dates. Prior to the installer's visit, they will be notified of the expected time of arrival. The anticipated project finish date is August l. The Logitech Company has been contracted to complete video installations. Tim Paige, IHETS Video Support Manager, will be scheduling training sessions for all sites.

Kaufman reported on Ivy Tech problems and that a clocking issue was discovered, and was corrected by changing the prameters. The MCU was working well; some freezing was encountered along with squeal with the audio. A test plan with First Virtual has been scheduled.

Watson requested that the install schedule be made available to everyone. By August 14 the higher education sites are to be installed. A T1 has been added at Vincennes airport for video.

Scott Beauregard reported that the Help Desk would be assuming Level 1 support for the NOC, with Level 1 support of AISN video and satellite to take place in the fall. Reports for video, voice, and data trouble tickets will also be available on the web. All communications and trouble ticket reporting should be referred to Scott Beauregard.

Update on ICHE Web Site Development Committee
for the transfer and articulation project Watson reported on the outcome of the committee meeting, that the Commission has two committees, one dealing with transfer policies and another focused on Web site development. She encouraged ITC members to keep in touch with their representatives on the Web committee. And since IHETS plans a related Web initiative, she recommended IHETS participate; Scott indicated she had talked with Ken Sauer at the CHE about that.

Packeteer Demonstration
The business meeting adjourned at 2 p.m. with a demonstration from Packeteer following. Packeteer is a network management tool to assist in regulating network traffic. Tom Triske and Michael Baydoun of CSoft conducted the presentation.
