E-Learning in Indiana—By the Numbers

The Indiana College Network (ICN), Indiana's “virtual university,” provides a gateway to e-learning opportunities from Indiana's colleges and universities and partner schools. A service of the Indiana Higher Education Telecommunication System (IHETS), ICN was created in 1994 by the Indiana Partnership for Statewide Education, making it the first and one of the largest state online consortia. Its goal is to assure that Indiana residents have access to a wide range of educational opportunities wherever they live or work.
