IHETS provides on-demand Webcasting service for March 27 Indiana Innovation Network event

INDIANAPOLIS—IHETS is partnering with the Indiana Innovation Network (IIN) to provide archived Web-based streaming video for a March 27 conference titled "Digital Fabrication: Focus on Indiana" originating from Ball State University. The conference is designed to create a dialog among experts including academics, designers, architects, engineers, contractors, fabricators, and others to share information on digital fabrication, prototyping trends, current research in the field. It will also address workforce considerations regarding the skills and training necessary to support digital fabrication as well as highlight Indiana research collaborations and innovations in the areas of orthopedics, nanotechnology, fuel cells, and carbon composites. Participating institutions include Ball State University, Indiana State University, Indiana University School of Dentistry, Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis, Purdue University, and Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. The Indiana Innovation Network (IIN) is a network created by ATAIN, a non-profit organization established to enhance technology transfer in the state of Indiana.The IIN is dedicated to promoting the growth and success of Indiana’s technology research base and technology-based entrepreneurial ventures. IIN's mission is to accelerate technology transfer and commercialization in the state by strengthening the connections between and within Indiana’s research institutions and the marketplace. IIN will serve as a catalyst for Indiana's "innovation" economy. ###
