IHETS services provides public access to three ICHE webinars

IHETS Interactive service used to facilitate TransferIN training sessions

The TransferIN web site (www.transferin.net) is in the process of being implemented, with the first public campuses coming online in the next few months, and with all public campuses scheduled to come online within 18 months. At least three independent institutions will also come online during this period.

As a result of the two successful webinars on the TransferIN web site held in December for the academic officers of the public institutions, the Indiana Commission for Higher Education scheduled three additional open access webinars for the public sector in February, again using IHETS Interactive web conferencing service.

Because of the aggressive implementation schedule, it was important to ICHE that key campus personnel were informed about the capabilities of the TransferIN Web site. Individuals who might benefit from participating included deans, associate or assistant deans, transfer coordinators, advisors, admissions officers. ICHE is also exploring with the Independent Colleges of Indiana the possibility of scheduling IHETS Interactive webinars specifically geared to independent institutions.
