Publications

These publications (most of which are Adobe .pdf documents) provide a variety of information about IHETS programs and services.

  • Brochures—Includes general information brochure about IHETS and ICN.
  • Handbooks and directories—Includes a link to the 2006–07 directory of higher educational personnel and adminstrators in Indiana
  • Presentations—Selected presentations on a variety of topics by IHETS administrators.
  • Reports—Documentation on 2002-03 distance education enrollments; IP video and telephony task force reports.
  • White papers—Reports and recommendations on e-learning (including guiding principles for distance education faculty) and various research and development topics.

Technology fundamentals

Not sure what Internet2 means? Need a definition of IP telephony or VoIP? This alphabetical glossary provides brief explanations and introductions to telecommunications, networking, and other information technology terminology. The terms are adapted from Newton's Telecom Dictionary (22nd edition, 2006), considered one of the best resources in the telecommunications industry.
