IHETS Interactive self-test
Adobe's Breeze Meeting is the software plaform for IHETS Interactive. Follow the instructions on this page to verify your computer and network connection will work with Breeze Meeting. Steps 1 through 4 are for all users at all locations. Step 5 is only for users at locations that need to be validated in order to become authorized IHETS Interactive receive sites.
Step 1: Watch a short Breeze Meeting demo
IHETS has prepared a very short demonstration of the Breeze Meeting software. Click here to see how Breeze Meeting works and what it looks like. In addition, watching the demo will verify that the Macromedia Flash Player is installed on your computer. If you are unable to access the player, download the latest version of the Flash Player and try again.
Step 2: Review bandwidth requirements, hardware and software recommendations
To access an IHETS Interactive class or event, you'll need a computer and a broadband Internet connection. For the best possible experience, make sure your system meets or exceeds the recommended specifications (IHETS Interactive: Bandwidth requirements, hardware and software recommendations).
Step 3: Test your connection
The Flash object below tests your connection to the IHETS Interactive Server.
If the test was successful, you should see the message Test Completed Successfully along with the supported connection speed. To participate in an IHETS Interactive session, your connection speed must be DSL or LAN. If the test gives Modem as your supported connection speed, you do not have enough bandwidth to use Breeze Meeting.

Step 4: Join the test meeting room and run the Audio Setup Wizard
Before completing this step, download and print the IHETS Interactive Quick Start Guide.
A public meeting room is available for testing 24 hours a day at: http://interactive.ihets.org/testroom/. Enter meeting room as a guest following the instructions in the Quick Start Guide. Follow the remaining steps in the guide to install the Breeze Add-in and fine tune your Flash and audio settings.

Step 5: Schedule an appointment for final validation (for authorized receive sites only)
Locations that wish to become authorized IHETS Interactive receive sites must be validated by the IHETS Help Desk. To schedule an appointment for validation, contact the IHETS Help Desk at 317.263.8999 or 1.800.246.7615. Appointments can be scheduled between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
