Service usage types

These types will be listed on our web forms. By collecting this information, IHETS will better be able to enchance the services offered to our members.

• Primary course delivery - instructional delivery of a formal class, for K12 or college credit or non-credit continuing education
• Supplemental instructional use - in a formal educational class, credit or non-credit, such as small-group work, office hours, test preparation, or guest speakers in a class delivered via some means other than this particular technology
• General or public information - transmission of single addresses or forums other than for instruction or training
• Administration - meetings, conferences, hearings and depositions, etc.
• Training - focused instructional activity for the particular purpose of learning how to do something (e.g., learn to use a new tool or process, organizational orientation)
• Test - for users experimentation while preparing to use the service
