IHETS video conferencing
Bridge statistics
IHETS operates two "bridges" for IP video conferencing: an Accord MGC-100 and an FVC conference server. The Accord provides 32 ports for IP video and the FVC server provides 100 ports for IP video, giving IHETS a combined capacity of 132 concurrent ports.
Every month, statistics are gathered for the previous month and are broken down into seven user groups:
- Higher education (edu)
- K-12 schools (K12)
- Government (gov)
- Libraries (lib)
- Educational service centers (esc)
- Organizations (org)
- Other (oth)
Based on these categories, three graphs are created:
- The total hours of bridge usage for "month" shows a snapshot for that month across all user groups.
- The total hours of bridge usage per month for "year" shows an ongoing accumulation of total hours of bridge usage for "month" in a stacked vertical column.
- The IP bridge capacity "year" shows the percent utilization by day and is also an ongoing accumulation of data.
These graphs report data for the previous month (i.e., graphs published in February 2005 will offer data from January 2005).
