IPSE Awards for Innovation and Leadership
Overview
The Indiana Partnership for Statewide Education (IPSE) awards program was established in 2002 as a means of recognizing Indiana faculty and instructional support staff who have exhibited extraordinary innovation and leadership in the utilization of technology to enhance teaching and learning, both on and off campus. IHETS administered the annual awards competition on behalf of IPSE. There were three award categories—two for faculty and one for instructional support staff—in the following areas:
- Teaching with technology in a distance education program (faculty)
- Teaching with technology on campus (faculty)
- Support for online teaching and learning (instructional support staff)
The annual Call for Nominations was issued early in the spring
and winners were announced at the IHETS/IPSE All Partners Conference in
April. Selection
criteria and eligibility information for each award category are given
below.
Due to budgetary constraints, however, the IPSE Awards program has been discontinued. Information about the process and previous winners continues to be available here as a resource to member institutions and professionals in the field.
