The coordinate majordomo e-mail list

A useful computer list of all Learning Center and campus coordinators helps facilitate communication across the state. By sending a message to coordinate@ihets.org, you can reach all coordinators with helpful information and good questions.

The list can be used to:

• Introduce new coordinators.
• Update addresses and phone numbers at learning centers.
• Indicate when a class is closed to further enrollment.
• Indicate new classes that are available after the course schedule has gone to press.
• Invite other coordinators to activities.
• Share successes!
• Share interesting URLs and articles about distance education, adult students, grant opportunities, and other items of interest to all.
• Ask for help answering student questions.

To send a message to the list, address your message to coordinate@ihets.org. Replies to your message will appear on the list. If your do not want your reply to appear on the list, do not hit your Reply function; instead, re-address your e-mail to the e-mail address of the person you want to reach.

To add your name to the coordinate list, send a message to Julie Wheeler requesting your name (or a staff member or a program director’s name) be added to the list. Anyone can post messages to the list, but only those on the list will receive copies of the message.

To remove your name from the list, ask Julie Wheeler to delete you.
