- ADEC: The American Distance Education Consortium is an international consortium of state and land grant institutions providing economic distance education programs and services via the latest and most appropriate information technologies.
- CIC: The Committee on Institutional Cooperation is a consortium of 12 research universities whose mission is to advance academic excellence by sharing resources and promoting and coordinating collaborative activities across the member universities.
- EDUCAUSE: EDUCAUSE is a nonprofit association whose mission is to advance higher education by promoting the intelligent use of information technology.
- ICE: Indiana Computer Educators is a non-profit professional group whose mission is assisting educators to enhance learning through the use of technology. ICE is the state professional organization for 2,500 teachers, administrators, technology directors, and school technical staff.
